Illinois Progressive Dinner

Rocky Waters Winery- Rocky Waters kicks off your day long culinary and wine experience with Illinois grown and made wines cheeses and produce. The Rocky Waters property is an absolutely splendid property and produces some of the finest wines in the Midwest. Pair these wines with cheeses from the Lena, IL cheese factory and produce grown locally as your appetizer your day is sure to begin with a relaxing tone and sensory overload on your taste buds that will follow you as day progresses.

Massbach Ridge Winery- Your day continues with a visit to Massbach Ridge Winery for more award winning wines and lunch at the vineyard. Lunch will be served and paired with a glass of wine of your choice. For lunch you will be treated to Illinois raised organic/HGH free beef from Galena Beef you will be served a “sampler kabob” that will feature four different cuts of beef and vegetables grown locally and grilled to perfection.

After lunch enjoy some free time to browse the property and enjoy a wine tasting.

Galena Cellars Winery- We end the day with perfection in the country and a visit to Galena Cellars Vineyard location. At Galena Cellars you will have your dessert and a glass of wine paired perfectly with a slice of “Galena Cheesecake” a locally owned cheesecake company that makes their cheesecakes in Galena but sells these cakes throughout the Midwest. While at Galena Cellars enjoy a wine tasting and find the wine that will best compliment your cheesecake selection.

Iowa Wine and Dine Tour
 

Tabor Home Vineyard and Winery- You will begin your day visiting and touring the family property of Dr. Paul Tabor manager and winemaker. Paul is a fifth generation family member making his living at “the home place”. After the tour you will be welcome to sample some of the estate wines made with grapes grown on the property and enjoy some casual time at the property.

Daly Creek Winery and Bistro- You make think you’re in California or France but your true destination is located in Anamosa Iowa. The winery named after the owners Jim and Michael Langer’s great grandfather…Paul Daly, today the Langers carry on the family tradition by producing great wine and outstanding food for their guests. We will be dining and sampling wines during our visit at Daly Creek.

Park Farm Winery- We will finish our day at the spectacular Vineyard of the Cushman Brothers. The wines and the view will be sure to set the relaxed pace you expect and the end of the perfect day of great food and wines. Your Park Farm tour will consist of a stroll through the Vineyard and a description and the growing of the grapes that flourish in the Midwest.

Wide River Winery-Set atop the Mississippi bluff north of Clinton, you will discover some of the finest wines in the Midwest. These diverse wines, from dry white to sweet red, are made primarily with Midwestern grapes, including our own organically grown grapes. We also offer a hiking trail along the Mississippi bluff, a peaceful deck for relaxing and a small gift shop. Come for the wine, stay for the adventure.

Vines, Dine, Wine and Riverboats
 

Enjoy a day in beautiful Jo Daviess County while traveling in a luxurious Tri-State Travel motor coach to wineries and Chestnut Mountain Resort for a sampling of great wine and food in some of the Midwest most scenic countryside.

Rocky Waters Vineyard- Wake up in the vines… Begin your day at the breathtaking Rocky Waters Vineyard with a hay rack ride through the Vineyard. The tour will take you through the vineyard and witness the different stages of the growth of the grapes. At Rocky Waters you will also receive the opportunity to visit the tasting room in the spectacular log home chalet. Taste and purchase wines by the bottle or glass and enjoy views that will take your breath away.

Chestnut Mountain Resort- Lunch will be served at the beautiful Chestnut Mountain dining room complete with a cooking demonstration prior to your meal and lunch will be served in the beautiful dining room with views overlooking the river. After dessert we will be taking a back water riverboat ride in the mighty Mississippi. This tour will include some spectacular birding opportunities at a stress free pace.

Galena Cellars Winery- You will end your day with perfection in the country…At Galena Cellars you will be given a tour of the property that will showcase the winemaking process from beginning to end. The restored farmstead has been converted to accommodate the needs of the winery and will feature some of the countries finest wines. Enjoy wine by the glass as you relax on the wrap around country porch.

Milling Around Bellevue Tour

 Spend a day taking in the sights of gorgeous Bellevue and it's surroundings.  While milling you will be taken on a tour of Lock and Dam #12, walk the trails of the Bellevue State Park and it's butterfly garden.  You can, also, visit the Brush Creek Winery, catch up on some history at the Young Museum, and take in some of the area's art museums.

You could end the day with an award winning Murder Mystery Dinner and historic Mill tour.  Group members attend a sumptuous banquet at Potter's Mill and assume a role in a murder mystery and become "Holmes away from home."  A fun filled laugh a minute tour that includes a great meal, mill tour and free gift.
