
Dubuquer Sara Marie Taylor (born 1974) was Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Political Affairs at the White House, making her one of George W. Bush's top political aides until her resignation in 2007. She reported directly to Karl Rove. After she resigned from the Bush administration citing a desire to seek employment outside of government, the House and Senate Judiciary Committees approved subpoenas for Taylor to testify regarding her involvement in the controversy surrounding the dismissal of U.S. Attorneys. Taylor answered many questions with "I don't recall." Uh, oh!
